INTRODUCTION

Because of the volume of charts needed to encompass the extended range of coding, full details of the placing all pins will no longer be included with all B.R. specifications applicable to relays.

This specification, therefore, has been prepared so that it can be used in association with all new specifications dealing with relays having codes in the 1 to 252, 566, 566 to 1060, and 6001 to 6210 range in order to provide details of the range of pin codings applicable to these relays. The schedule of such codes is given in the appendix (sheets 1 to 5) attached hereto.

The codes 6001 to 6210 are "six pin" codes allocated to non safety relays and similar units. No further codes in this series will be allocated in future.
