This standard is applied to separate the ply surface which is plane or cylindrical as hoses.
For components which contain sharp bends, angles, or other irregularities, specific methods may be applied.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this standard is to determine the force required to separate two plies of fabrics bonded with an elastomer, or an elastomeric layer and a fabric ply bonded with an elastomer.
