This specification applies to all anchors, regardless of the rail section with which they are to be used.
PURPOSE
This specification gives the requirements for rail anchors to be used in Railtrack's infrastructure in terms of the geometrical constraints on the design of the anchor, the resistance to longitudinal rail creep to be achieved and the method for fitting and removing the anchor.
