This Standard specifies the fundamentals, and the guidelines on implementation method in a job unit and promotion method in an organization, concerning daily management that is one of the major activities of quality management. This Standard is applicable to any types of organizations. Also, this Standard is applicable not only to organizations that follow set routines (e.g., production) but also to organizations whose works differ depending on objects or situations (e.g., design and development, sales, after-sale service, administrative and staff functions).
