scope:
Purpose.
To amplify guidance published in references (a) through (g) for designated flag officers regarding the use of enlisted aides (formerly referred to as personal quarters culinary specialists). Major revisions to this instruction include the addition of enclosure (1) which issues enlisted aide requirements and authorizations (effective 1 October 2019), removal of assignment policy for enlisted aides and clarification of the enlisted aide expense responsibility. This instruction is a complete revision and should be reviewed in its entirety.
