AIM

The aim of this NATO standardization recommendation (STANREC) is to list recommended practices regarding:

Deposition and dosage levels of chemical agents, biological agents and toxic industrial chemicals (TIC) to which protective equipment and procedures for NATO forces should be designed to allow unaffected operations. These challenge levels are intended to provide design guidelines and are not to be used for "risk assessment".
