This module provides instructions for undertaking the routine shutdown of the line to traffic and de-energisation of the conductor rail during non-traffic hours.

Purpose

This module updates previously published instructions for 3rd rail d.c. electrified lines between Moorgate and Drayton Park (the Northern City Line), presenting them in an approved format that clarifies where variation may be permitted.
