Purpose:
In accordance with the authority in DoD Directive (DoDD) 5124.02, this issuance establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures for military medical treatment facility (MTF) support of the Military Departments in maintaining the:
• Readiness and core competencies of health care providers within the Military Services.
