Purpose.

This volume establishes training management of HH-60G aircrew members in order to achieve the highest degree of combat readiness consistent with flight safety and resource availability. For the purpose of this manual, any reference to Major Commands (MAJCOMs) are intended to also pertain to the ANG. MAJCOM specific guidance is embedded within the text and prefaced with the MAJCOM acronym. The applicable MAJCOMs are Air Combat Command (ACC), Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), United States Air Forces Europe (USAFE), United States Air Forces Africa (AFAFRICA), and Air Education and Training Command (AETC). Where such guidance applies to both ANG and AFR, the term Air Reserve Component (ARC) is used. Note: For the purpose of this publication, Guardian Angel personnel (Pararescue and Combat Rescue Officers) are not considered HH-60G aircrew members. Pararescue and Combat Rescue Officers will follow AFI 10-3502V1, Pararescue and Combat Rescue Officer Training, and applicable supplements for training requirements.
