scope:
PURPOSE.
This instruction reissues DoD Instruction 7730.18 (Reference (a)) in accordance with the authority in DoD Directive 5124.02 (Reference (b)) to establish policy, assign responsibilities, and prescribe procedures for reporting civilian personnel strength and payroll data to meet the requirements of OSD and the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) in accordance with the OPM Manual (Reference (c)).
