Purpose of This Notice.
This notice provides background information on the development of Safety Assurance System (SAS) Phase 3 (i.e., what changed and why); the creation and focus of each of the integrated product teams (IPT), specifically IPTs 1, 2, and 6 (i.e., who was involved); and a high-level overview of each of those areas (i.e., what to expect). In addition, this notice provides information regarding what policy was impacted, the training involved, and the deployment process.
