Purpose.

Order 2150.3C, Change 3, amends chapter 9 to include sanction guidance for violations of regulatory requirements involving Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) Out equipment, performance, and broadcast requirements. The change also amends chapter 9 to include sanction guidance specific to amendments under the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018 to 49 U.S.C. § 46318(a) regarding sexual assaults and threats of sexual assault and the increased civil monetary penalty maximum for violations of that statute. Additionally, the change updates maximum civil monetary penalties in accordance with inflation adjustments in 14 C.F.R. § 13.301, clarifies size limits and sector titles for support activities for transportation based on SBA size limits under 13 C.F.R. § 121.201, and clarifies sanction guidance for knowingomissions to conceal a material fact in a repair station application or record.
