PURPOSE.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Eastern Service Area (ESA) seeks to provide a safe working environment by developing employee awareness and training related to fire and smoke barrier protection. The FSBFP as required by the current editions of the model codes is designed to maintain the integrity of fire and smoke barriers in FAA workplaces.
