Publication Date: 28 June 2019
Status: active
Page Count: 17
ICS Code (Ignitability and burning behaviour of materials and products): 13.220.40
ICS Code (Construction materials in general): 91.100.01
scope:

This Standard specifies the accelerated weathering test method for the confirmation of the persistence of fire-retardant effect that inhibits fire propagation in the case where fire-retardant treated wood products (hereafter referred to as fire-retardant treated wood) are used for building façades.

NOTE This test method is intended only for the mutual comparison of the persistence of effect that inhibits fire propagation among different fire-retardant treated woods, and neither for the evaluation of the fire propagation over building façades nor for the prediction of the persistence period of fire-retardant effect in the case where the fire-retardant treated wood is practically used for the building façades.
