scope:
Purpose.
This publication prescribes the framework for unit aerospace physiology training programs and procedures, and describes execution of the physiology program specific to aircrew training.
This publication addresses the mission of each unit aerospace physiology training function, and identifies the key processes, tasks and procedures required of the unit in order to accomplish its mission. MAJCOMs will determine the applicability of these publications for mission sets not otherwise specifically addressed by published guidance.
Physiology members includes the total complement of aerospace physiologists and aerospace physiology technicians.
MAJCOMs, DRUs, and FOAs will coordinate their supplement if any to this manual with the Air Education and Training Command (AETC) 19th Air Force Aircrew Performance Branch (19 AF/DOA) before publication and forward one copy to 19 AF/DOA after publication.
