Purpose.
The purpose of this test is to measure the uniformity of vehicle wheels before and after various tests are performed. Wheel uniformity testing is an important quality aspect of wheel and tire design/warranty, since proper balance and uniformity are significant contributors to a vehicles "smooth ride" performance.
