scope:
PURPOSE.
In accordance with the authority in DoD Directive (DoDD) 5143.01 (Reference (a)), this instruction reissues DoD Instruction (DoDI) 5030.59 (Reference (b)) to establish DoD policies and assign responsibilities pursuant to sections 454 and 455 of Title 10, United States Code (U.S.C.) (Reference (c)) for the use, availability, and withholding of GEOINT that is:
a. Designated for LIMITED DISTRIBUTION.
b. Distributed by, created by, or derived from NGA information and data.
c. In the possession of, or under the control of, the DoD.
