It represents a compendium of Chlorine Institute membership experience as of the date of publication. It is particularly critical for receivers of hydrochloric acid tank cars to be intimately familiar with the guidance provided in this pamphlet to help prevent the accidental mixing of hydrochloric acid with incompatible materials which can result in incidents having significant consequences, including severe injuries and/or damage to property.
