QUALIFIED PRODUCT LIST OF PRODUCTS QUALIFIED UNDER PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATION MIL-PRF-87937 Cleaning Compound, Aerospace Equipment

This list has been prepared for use by or for the Government in the procurement of products covered by subject specification and such listing of a product is not intended to and does not connote endorsement of the product by the Department of Defense. All products listed herein have been qualified under the requirements for the product as specified in the latest effective issue of the applicable specification. This list is subject to change without notice; revision or amendment of this list will be issued as necessary. The listing of a product does not release or otherwise affect the obligation of the supplier or manufacturer to comply with the specification requirements. Use of the information for advertising or publicity purposes is expressly forbidden.

THE ACTIVITY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS QUALIFIED PRODUCTS LIST IS THE AIR FORCE PETROLEUM AGENCY, HQ AFPET/AFTT, 2430 C ST BLDG 70 AREA B, WRIGHT-PATTERSON AFB OH 45433-7632.

The products qualified to this QPL are listed as four different types according to the applicable specification.

a. Type I -Terpene Based, Solvent Emulsion, Water Dilutable Cleaning Compound

b. Type III -Gel-Type Cleaning Compound

c. Type IV -Heavy Duty, Water Dilutable Cleaning Compound

The QPL lists the Government designation, Manufacturer¿s Designation, pH Conc/10%, Percent Nonvolatile, the Test or Qualification Reference, and the Manufacturer¿s Name in the following table. The addresses of approved manufacturers and their regional plants are listed after the table. The common National Stock Numbers (NSN) used for product ordering is listed for the user¿s reference.

NOTE

Type II aircraft cleaning compounds have been phased out and replaced with Type IV products.
