Purpose of the CFETP:

Provides information necessary for the AFCFM, MAJCOM functional managers (MFMs), commanders, education and training managers, supervisors, trainers, and certifiers to plan, develop, manage, and conduct an effective career field training program.

Provides an outline for trainees and supervisors which identifies points in a Special Reconnaissance operator's career for delivery of required developmental and progressive education and training.

Identifies task and knowledge training requirements for initial skills, upgrade, qualification, advanced, and proficiency training throughout each phase of an individual's career.

Lists courses available in this specialty and identifies sources of training and delivery methods.

Identifies major resource constraints that impact full implementation of the desired career field training process.
