Purpose.
In conjunction with other governing directives, this manual prescribes operating procedures for B-1 aircraft under most circumstances. It is not a substitute for sound judgment or common sense. Aircrew may accomplish operations or procedures not specifically addressed if they enhance safe and/or effective mission accomplishment.
