This document specifies additional material requirements in a collection of material data sheets and element data sheets for use in piping systems designed according to ASME B31.3 normal and high-pressure service.
NOTE The MDSs can also be applied for parts intended for other use than piping systems, e.g. pressure vessels and pumps based upon the assessment of the end user and compliance with the selected design code for the relevant equipment.
