This QPL has been prepared for use by or for the Government in the acquisition of products covered by the subject non-Government standard and inclusion of a product is not intended to and does not connote endorsement of the product by the Department of Defense. All products included herein have been qualified under the requirements for the products as specified in the latest effective issue of the applicable non- Government standard. This QPL is updated as necessary and is subject to change without notice. Inclusion of a product does not release or otherwise affect the obligation of the manufacturer to comply with the non-Government standard requirements.

THE ACTIVITY RESPONSIBLE FOR QUALIFICATION APPROVAL IS THE NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND, (CODE 4.3.5.4), 48110 SHAW ROAD, BLDG 2187, PATUXENT RIVER, MD 20670-5304.

THE ACTIVITY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS QUALIFIED PRODUCTS LIST IS THE NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND (ATTENTION: COMMANDER, NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AIRCRAFT DIVISION, CODE 4L8000B120-3, HIGHWAY 547, LAKEHURST, NJ 08733- 5100).

*Provisions Government Procurement. Procurement of these bearings shall be in accordance with FAR52.225-3 (Buy American Act) and DFAR52.225.7012 (Preference for Domestic Specialty Metals). The contractor should include these provisions in every subcontract and purchase order.

When an item is required by the Non-Government Standard but not listed on the QPL, or suppliers are not in compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations, the Contracting Officer or his representative is required to contact the Naval Air Systems Command (Code 4.3.5.4), 48110 Shaw Road, Bldg. 2187, Patuxent River, MD 20670, for guidance.

NOTE: The designation for /2 and /5 parts with rounded or square slot keyslots is characterized by the addition of the letter "K' to the Non-Government Standards Body (NGSB) designation. Each bearing manufacturer listed in this QPL for /2 and /5 part numbers with the 'K' designation is also approved to supply bearings with the deep square slot characterized by the addition of the letter 'W' (instead of 'K') to the NGSB designation.
