PURPOSE
This design handbook has been written to offer Supplier Setting Engineers fault and setting calculation examples for Network Rail Supply Schemes. It includes example technical data that is typical for the primary equipment. The calculations have been used for the unit protection applied to the equipment, but the general principles can be used to calculate fault levels for the other protection functions.
