Scope and Applicability.
This notice applies to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Commands (NAVMEDREADTRNCMD) and Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Units (NAVMEDREADTRNUNIT) that provide medical support and medical surveillance to commands possessing BSAT, including, but not limited to, laboratories and storage located on United States Navy installations.
Purpose.
To provide guidance for training and certification of biological select agents and toxins (BSAT) to competent medical authorities (CMA) per references (a) through (d).
