This Code applies to all boilers, pressure vessels, fittings, and piping, as provided for by the Act and defined in this Code.
Note: In certain provinces there may be variations in size limitations quoted in this Code. Consultation with the authority having jurisdiction is recommended.
This Code does not apply to boilers or unfired pressure vessels operating or unde~ t.he supervis~on of the Canadian Transport Comm1ss1on and which are constructed, marked, and maintained in accordance with their specifications and regulations; or to boilers or pressur_e vessels subject to inspection under the Canada Shipping Act; or. to boilers in private residences, unless otherwise provided by the Act.
