This guidance applies to all tenancies whose premises are shown on station fire compliance and fire precautions plans.
The guidance in this document shall be followed by station staff with delegated responsibility and tenant staff who manage their tenancies.
Purpose
The purpose of this document is to provide guidance to London Underground (LU) station management staff in the management of tenants located within their landlord areas so that they can fulfil the requirements in Station Rulebook 12 and The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and to ensure that tenants do not present an unacceptable fire risk to stations and that fire risk is safely managed.
