Scope and Applicability.
This directive applies to all commands and organizations with drilling Ready Reserve billets assigned.
Purpose.
To provide commands guidance for the appropriate use and management of assigned Navy Reserve Sailors. This instruction establishes the Command Reserve Management Program (CRMP), updates Navy Reserve integration policy, retitles staff positions formerly known as "Operational Support Officers," emphasizes reserve readiness and aligns with current Department of Defense (DoD) policy and guidance.
