scope:
The chapter specifies the requirements for non-metallic materials used for construction of vessels and their equipment with respect to:
- manufacturer and manufacture
- chemical composition and technology
- test units, test material and test specimen
- repair
- inspection and survey
- identification and certification.
The requirements apply for assignment of class.
Upon agreement, the scope may be extended to non-metallic materials used for other applications.
