The aim of this NATO standardization recommendation (STANREC) is to list recommended practices regarding:
the latest mobility modelling and simulation predictive tools utilizing terramechanics, uncertainty quantification, GIS information and map based visualization for planning the NATO nations' military vehicle operations, and to support vehicle acquisition and design.
