This guidance applies to activities carried out by stations DLO staff (Lifts, Escalators and Pumps) who would need to use two-way radios when working at stations or depots.

This guidance applies to some works where there is a potential for operatives to have restricted or no line of sight when working in a machine chamber, lift pit, car top or on a pump site.

The purpose of this document is to provide a safe guidance for the use of two-way radios used by Stations Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) staff.
