Purpose

This document provides guidance for the installation, testing and commissioning of asset types and equipment associated with LU's legacy signalling systems, which comprises two aspect signalling with AC fed track circuits, plus mechanical trainstops and interlocking.

Note: The purpose of this covering document is to enable continuity of signalling documentation, consistency of document numbering and provide traceability through the recorded document history. It is not proposed to update the existing document S&CSE ST0021-A2 'Signalling Handbook Standards', but rather keep it as historical reference.
