This document applies to all managers and supervisors working within LU Customer Operations, whether permanent staff or contractors.
The activity and skills required to implement this guidance is unlikely to differ from enabling activity that you will already be doing from a safety or performance management perspective.
It will therefore be unlikely to require significant extra effort or resources but your visible commitment to security is vital if our front line colleagues are to keep themselves, their colleagues and our customers safe.
Purpose
This document sets out the guidance that managers and leaders can use to help support a positive culture around managing security risk within London Underground (LU) Customer Operations.
As a manager or supervisor, it is your responsibility to ensure that the information contained within this guidance note is used alongside your other leadership activities to help instil a positive security culture.
