This specification covers polyethylene (PE) pipe made to standard inside dimension ratios (SIDR) and pressure rated for water (see appendix). Included are requirements for PE compounds and requirements and test methods for workmanship, dimensions, elevated temperature sustained pressure, burst pressure, and marking.
