Purpose
The purpose of this document is to provide an assurance process for the inspection of level crossing systems specified in NR/L2/XNG/19608.
It provides the means of addressing the following assurance questions:
a) Are inspections of acceptable quality? (clause 2)
b) Are all level crossings entered in Ellipse and are their inspection frequencies correct? (clause 3)
c) Are defect repairs of an acceptable quality? (clause 4)
d) Are defects repaired and closed in Ellipse to timescale? (clause 5)
