This module defines the minimum inspection and maintenance frequencies for the tasks contained within work instructions referenced from NR/L3/SIGELP/50001.

This module also contains the criteria for the application of risk based maintenance on signaling power supply equipment above 175 V AC.

This module affects the following signalling power supply equipment on Network Rail managed infrastructure:

•    Signalling Power supply equipment above 175 V AC in equipment housings. Including FSPs, location cases, relay rooms, REBs, etc.

•    Signalling Power supply cabling and cable routes.

•    Insulation Monitoring equipment on signal power supplies above 175 V AC.

•    Interrupter cabling.

•    Temporary protective measures.

•    Electronic Protection Relays installed on signalling power supply equipment above 175 VAC.

•    Distribution Interface Transformer Equipment

NOTE: The maintenance of Principal Supply Points is excluded from this document.
