This guide defines the telecommunications requirements to be incorporated in the implementation of APIs for the use of ordering, authentication, policy and processing between providers (e.g., PUC Billing/Dispute records, Public Company Accounting Reform and Investor Protection Act/Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX) and other mandatory Communications Industry field requirements, etc.). The guide establishes the resource definition requirements to ensure those network detailed records are available to meet policy and compliance needs.

This guideline is used to define the requirements between a customer facing API and provider's Digital Platform Service. The purpose is to establish standards regarding the exchange of customer information, Resource model information, API & API authentication information that will be required to request network resources or services from the service provider.

The Objective of this guide is to support the development of a Community or Federated Digital Platform within the ATIS telecommunication space.
