This Def Stan relates to Design Guidelines for a Common Restraint System, to be used by Ministry of Defence (MOD) Land equipment. They must comply wherever possible with UK and EU legislation as applicable under the current Construction and Use Regulations. Where exemptions are considered necessary refer to Clause 2.2.
This Def Stan is intended to assist the procurement of military vehicles for operating both in the UK and other host nations.
