- is usable for different safety integrity levels.

This NTA applies to:

- design and safety assessment of products or systems;

- safe integration of modern technology, products, systems or subsystems;

- all design and engineering disciplines;

- making safety case.

This NTA covers:

- all phases of the life cycle that can influence safety performance;

- all levels of hierarchy which can impact safety performance;

- past experiences and considerations in the foreseeable future.

NOTE This NTA provides guidelines for practising designers, design engineers or safety engineers, and is recommended for mid-level or higher-level education.
