Purpose of This Order.
The Flight Standards Service (FS) Hearing Conservation Program (HCP) is established to prevent occupational hearing loss in FS employees. This program specifies the actions necessary to protect the health and safety of all FS employees and provides the requirements for the development, implementation, and maintenance of an effective HCP. The FS HCP is a program under the overall FS Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Program.
