This document covers the management of environmental aspects, impacts and risks relating to mining operations on the seabed, including the transport of the mined material to the surface platform and affiliated surface operations.
Excluded from this document are downstream processes such as enrichment, surface transport (shipping) and onshore handling of the mined material.
Further potential impacts/risks relating to personnel health and safety, security and property, and societal impacts are not addressed by this RP.
