Purpose/Material Description.
This specification describes paintable grades of a blend of polypropylene, Ethylene Propylene Rubber (EPR), and elastomer for injection molding compounds.
The classification into groups is according to the different properties as described in Table 2.
Symbols.
The material abbreviation according to ISO 11469 is >PP+EPR<.
Applicability.
Typical applications include the following: Paintable airbag covers.
Remarks.
The classification into types is according to different ranges of stiffness and flow as indicated in Table 1.
