This document is applicable to the Battery Schoma locomotives that are maintained by TransPlant and acts as a guidance document for any TransPlant staff who are involved with the maintenance or operation of the Battery Schoma locomotives in the course of their duties.
Purpose
The purpose of this guidance is to familiarise staff with the Schoma locomotives that have been converted from diesel engine power to battery powered. These locomotives are known as Battery Schoma Locomotives.
