scope:
Purpose.
This instruction specifies procedures for Joint Materiel Priorities and Allocation Board (JMPAB) execution and establishes policies for allocating critical defense materiel between U.S., allied, and friendly forces per references a through j. In addition, it provides supplemental guidance on the assignment and use of Force/Activity Designators (FADs) and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) project codes in accordance with references a and b.
