This guidance applies to the use of angle grinders by Pumps' Direct Labour Organisation ( DLO) and also Lifts & Escalators DLO personnel.
The angle grinder would only be used either in the work shop or during engineering hours on London Underground sites.
Purpose
The purpose of this document is to provide guidance for users of portable angle grinders. These are very hazardous by nature and have the potential to cause harm not only to those people using them but to others in the vicinity.
