Scope and Applicability.

This instruction applies to Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED), echelon 3s, and applicable subordinate commands. NAVMED Public Affairs officers are responsible for verifying the NAVMED brand, when used for public communications, Web sites, challenge coins, marketing materials, and public events are used per this instruction, and notifying BUMED Public Affairs office of improper use. Questions about the use of the NAVMED logo or Corps seals should be directed to BUMED Communications (BUMED-M09B7).
