This standard applies to all London Underground (LU) owned infrastructure and signalling systems maintained by LU and the Wimbledon branch.

All those who are involved in incident management on LU's signalling systems need to follow this standard. It should be used where there is a need to escalate incidents and to populate the rosters.

This standard does not apply to Network Rail lines where LU is one of the train operating companies operating passenger services on Network Rail owned infrastructure.

Purpose

The purpose of this standard is to specify the arrangements for the management and operation of the Signalling Engineering Emergency on Call Roster, the escalation process and the appointment of suitably qualified signal engineers to the roster.
