scope:
1.1 This test method covers the determination of the dynamic water resistance of shoe upper leather by means of the Dow Corning Tester. It is applicable to all types of shoe upper leather. This test method does not apply to wet blue or wet white.
1.2 Initial water penetration and water absorption can be measured.
