This standard specifies unscreened single-core low-voltage cables with conductors made of aluminium or aluminium alloy to be used for automobiles (hereinafter referred to as "cables").
This standard also applies to individual cores in multi-core cables.
The rated voltages of the cables shall be 30 V AC and 60 V DC.
