This part of the specification covers the requirements for electric resistance welded (ERW) mechanical tubing used in the Company's products. Unless otherwise specified herein, ASTM A 513 will apply. Several types of coated or galvanized ERW steel tubing are also covered by this specification.

Restricted Chemical Substances

Effective January 1, 2007, all product supplied to the requirements of this specification must comply with the requirements of the MPAPS B-50 specification.

APPLICATION

This specification is in three parts:

Part I - Electrical Resistance Welded Mechanical Steel Tubing

Part II - Cold Drawn Butt Welded Mechanical Steel Tubing

Part III - Seamless Mechanical Steel Tubing
